Is everything you have horse-y stuff?

Our store’s motif was originally aimed more towards the modern horse rider, and it is true most of our home goods (décor, throw pillows, table accents, serving pieces, art, etc.) still reflect that original theme. However, over the years we have added many new products (and they are not all “horsey”). We also carry unique and quality clothing brands which suite everyone. And, while we do carry a few breeches, competition shirts, show jackets, and custom riding boots, we also carry top brands like Miss Me, Fior da Liso, Beluva, Cino, Articles of Society, Barbour, Pendleteon, Dubarry, Sister Mary/Cousin Earl, Kastel, San Soleil, AZI, AMB, and Lior. Keep checking our web site (or stop in!) as we frequently update our store and website with new items.

How does back-ordering work?

Items that are listed as “Available on Backorder” are items we do not currently have in stock in our store but can order for you. These are typically normal stock items and are probably already on their way to Equine Divine so we can quickly ship them directly to you.

How do European (EUR and UK) sizes compare to US sizes?

How do I care for my Arthur Court and Vagabond House home décor pieces?

Wash your Arthur Court Designs aluminum serve ware and your Vagabond House handcrafted pewter tableware by hand with mild dishwashing soap and dry immediately. DO NOT PUT IN THE DISHWASHER. The brilliant polished luster of your aluminum and/or pewter will be permanently dulled by the high heat of a dishwasher. To prevent stains, remove all food and liquid – especially fatty acids, vinegar or salad dressings – from platters and vessels after use or insert a glass liner for food service. It is recommended that just prior to serving, your piece is wiped or sprayed with vegetable oil. By doing so, the oil will act as a barrier against highly acidic or salty foods, which may otherwise dull or discolor the finish.

As needed, polish with 100% cotton flannel polishing cloth.

Each piece is individually crafted and polished by hand. Flawless perfection can only be achieved on an assembly line and that is not the intention of Arthur Court Designs nor Vagabond House. Variations in the product reinforce that fact that each unique piece is made by hand.

How do I care for my Barbour Waxed Jackets?

Barbour has an incredibly long and loving history with waxed cotton, dating back to 1894. It could be argued that our relationship with this material for use in clothing is the longest running and most consistent in the world today.

Step 1 | Clean your jacket.

Clean the jacket using cold water and a sponge to wipe down the outside of the jacket. Avoid using hot water, any kind of soap and NEVER put your jacket in the washing machine, as this will remove the wax coating permanently and the jacket cannot be rewaxed.

Step 2 | Soften the wax.

Take a tin of Barbour Wax Thornproof dressing. Remove the lid, stand the tin of dressing in a container of water hot enough to soften the wax. It should take approximately 20 minutes to melt the wax into a liquid consistency.

Step 3 | Wax your jacket.

Using an old cloth or sponge, work the melted wax well into the jacket paying particular attention to seams, creases and dry patches. Wipe off any excess wax. You should keep the wax tin in the hot water while working in order to keep the wax softened. If the wax begins to harden top the container with more hot water. Ensure you keep the wax away from the corduroy collar, the inside of the jacket and inside of the pockets.

Step 4 | Dry your jacket.

To ensure you get an extra smooth finish blow over with a hair dryer to even the spread of wax.

Step 5 | Re-wax your jacket once a year.

Once you’ve re-waxed the jacket, hang it up. Allow to dry overnight in a warm place away from other garments. Be aware the jacket may lose excess wax for a short while so take care not to get your newly waxed jacket near leather or upholstery.

If you need your jacket repaired or reproofed by Barbour, let us know! We can send it back to them for servicing. Or follow the instructions on Barbour’s website at https://www.barbour.com/us/repairs-reproofing.
